Abstract

La serie de suplementos tiene por objetivo divulgar proceedings o memorias de eventos de interés en Áreas relacionadas a la Ingenierí­a y Ciencia de los Materiales en Iberoamérica. En esta oportunidad, el SUPLEMENTO contiene una selección de resúmenes de cuatro páginas de algunos trabajos seleccionados entre los presentados en el XVII Congreso Internacional de Metalurgia y Materiales CONAMET/SAM, realizado los dí­as 18, 19 y 20 de octubre de 2017 en la ciudad de Copiapó, Región de Atacama, Chile. El CONAMET/SAM es un evento cientí­fico y tecnológico que se celebra cada año en Chile y Argentina, donde se divulgan los resultados de las principales investigaciones científicas y de desarrollo tecnológico realizadas en ambos países en el Área de metalurgia adaptiva.
