SINTESIS Y PROPIEDADES TERMICAS DE POLIESTERURETANOS EN BASE A POLILACTIDA
Abstract
A novel poly(esterurethane)s (PEUs) based on polylactide were prepared by a catalyzed two-step reaction process. The PEUs were characterized by DSC and Polarized Light Optical Microscopy. The PEUs had higher cold crystallization temperature, slower cold crystallization kinetics, and lower melting points than their PLA precursors. The Avrami equation predicted the kinetics well beyond 50% of the isothermal cold-crystallization process. The synthesis variables that had the largest impact on the thermal properties of the PEUs were the molecular weight of the precursors.Downloads
