Abstract

In this work is reported the process of obtaining ceramic powders of strontium hexaferrite, SrFe12O19  by the methods of synthesis, Pechini  and combustion, varying parameters such as iron precursors, pH of solution and heat treatment. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy techniques were applied to evaluate the microstructure, composition and crystallite size oftheSrFe12O19 samples, determining hexagonal structure size in the range of 200 to 300nm
